organ duo 422play
Reitze Smits & Bart Jacobs
'For two to play' a term used in English compositions designated for two players on one keyboard, served as inspiration for the name of this new organ duo and for new works written by Reitze Smits for two organists.
In alternation with these pieces, works can be heard by 17th century English composers such as Tomkins and Purcell, and also by early 20th century composers as Debussy and Ravel.
The great variety of styles in combination with the versatile use of the organ by two seasoned players makes for an exciting auditive experience.
